Game of Clones is the hilarious parody mash-up from the creators of the international hit MacHomer, a one-man show that combines Macbeth and The Simpsons. Their new production mixes George Lucas with George R.R. Martin in a mash-up of two beloved sagas Star Wars and A Song of Ice and Fire, the latter of which kicked off the HBO series Game of Thrones. In this play, two amazing actors play 60 ridiculous characters. It’s a collision of the sublime and the ridiculous and of sci-fi and fantasy that premieres nationally on the NACC stage.
Actress Amy Matysio is an award-winning Canadian stage and screen actress, improviser and voice over artist with more than 100 credits to her name. Among the awards under her belt is the Dora Award for best ensemble in a musical for her part in the Wizard of Oz.
Actor Jamie Cavanagh has been nominated for multiple Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Awards and has performed in cities all over the world. One of his recent award wins include a 2016 Dora Award for best ensemble in a play for his part in VideoCabaret’s The Great War.
Co-creator Craig Francis is an award–winning writer, illustrator and performer. His animated web series, education campaigns and cartoon voices have been enjoyed by millions of families worldwide. Raised in British Columbia, Francis co–founded two improvisation troupes in Montreal, touring nationally and performing in five Just For Laughs festivals.
Co-creator Rick Miller is a Dora and Gemini award-winning writer/director/actor/musician/educator who has performed in five languages on five continents and who Entertainment Weekly called “one of the 100 most creative people alive today.” He has created and toured solo shows such as MacHomer, and Bigger Than Jesus with Daniel Brooks and HARDSELL.
