The Northern Arts and Cultural Centre is upgrading to a newer and more user-friendly ticketing service called Spektrix in August 2024. Below are some FAQs to address any concerns or questions you may have.

What is Spektrix?
Spektrix is a leading box office and theatre ticketing software. It is used worldwide, and is replacing our Theatre Manager (tickets.naccnt.ca) system. We are hopeful that it will provide an improved user experience for our patrons.

When does Spektrix go live on NACC’s website?
This new ticketing software will become publicly accessible on August 16th, 2024 as part of our 2024/2025 Season Launch.

What about my account and password?
All accounts created with Theatre Manager (tickets.naccnt.ca) will be transferred to Spektrix. Once you log in for the first time, you’ll be asked to set a new password, or you can utilize Spektrix’s password-free login options. The username associated with your account on Spektrix is the same email you used on Theatre Manager (tickets.naccnt.ca).
 
Will my personal information be secure in this transition?
Spektrix acts as a data processor whereas the clients are the data controllers, meaning they will never alter, manipulate, or otherwise interact with your data. Spektrix is certified, using the most recent standards for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system. 

Will the new ticketing site be easy to navigate?
Spektrix’s software is incredibly simple compared to Theatre Manager (tickets.naccnt.ca). We’re confident that our patrons will enjoy the streamlined process of purchasing with us.
 
What will happen to my gift certificates?
All gift certificates will still be valid! They will be moved to our new software. Should you have any trouble using them, please contact our box office.

Do I still book on tickets.naccnt.ca?
Nope! tickets.naccnt.ca will no longer be an active domain. Go to our official website and click on the “Buy Tickets” link at the top of the page, or to our Events tab to see what’s coming up.

What changes can I expect to see?
Spektrix’s system is typically more intuitive and robust than what patrons were accustomed to with Theatre Manager (tickets.naccnt.ca). Your Spektrix account will offer options such as the ability to download and print tickets at home, communicate accessibility needs directly to the NACC Box Office, indicate your contact preferences, and more.

What if I have trouble with this new system?
As always, our staff are happy to help. We can be reached by phone or in person at our box office. Our box office hours remain the same (Tuesday through Friday, 12:30pm to 4:30pm).
