ARTIST STORY
Xaanja is an Indigenous NWT Metis Artist, wife and mother of four.
Xaanja is a creative being and design thinker. Xaanja is a multi-media artist who creates art in different media: acrylic paintings, pastels, charcoal, ceramics, printmaking, wire sculptures, beading, as well as digital media–film, video editing is fun! Xaanja loves to write poetry, silly songs, and short stories. Xaanja is available for commissioning art and art demonstrations for printmaking.
Xaanja’s work will be on display and for sale at NACC for the month of September 2025.
