Accessible Seating
The Northern Arts and Cultural Centre has three accessible seats with adjustable arms (seats A1, B5, B6). The arms on these seats can be moved for patrons who are moving from a wheelchair or for patrons with size concerns.
For patrons who are unable or have difficulty using stairs, seats A1-A6, B1-B4, and B6-B8 are situated at ground level. A side entrance that has no stairs can be accessed upon request to the staff member on-site.
These accessible seats can be booked online, over the phone, or at the box office.
Our theatre has four wheelchair-designated spaces available in our theatre for any patrons who prefer to stay seated in their wheelchair for the duration of the performance. Should you wish to book a wheelchair-designated space, please contact our box office over the phone or in person as they are placed on hold to ensure availability for patrons who need them.
Accessible Washroom
The Northern Arts and Cultural Centre has access to one accessible washroom located in the Ecole Sir John Franklin High School office. Access to this space can be made available upon request to the staff member on-site.
Accessible Parking
Our shared parking lot has two accessible parking spots near the theatre’s entrance, which are marked with a blue accessible parking sign. Should these spots be taken upon arrival, you can contact our staff member on-site for information on alternative accessible parking options.
Assisted Listening Devices
For patrons with difficulty hearing, we have Phonix Ear Headphones and other devices on hand that assist in facilitating a more enjoyable experience of the performance. This service is offered only for select performances. Please ask for this service at the box office window on the night of the performance.
Scent-Free Environment
In consideration of patrons with allergies and/or sensitivities, we ask patrons to refrain from using scented personal products when attending our performances.
