The Nutcracker

Bella Dance Academy presents The Nutcracker, a magical holiday tradition for the whole family!

It’s Christmas Eve at the Silberhaus residence, and excitement runs high as last minute preparations are made. Guests begin to arrive to celebrate the holiday with Clara and her family. Arriving late in the midst of the celebration is Drosselmeyer, Clara’s mysterious uncle. He entertains everyone with magic tricks and mechanical dolls. Drosselmeyer then presents Clara with a wooden nutcracker soldier. Her sisters feel slighted and become jealous. They try to take the nutcracker from Clara and in the struggle, the nutcracker is broken.

Clara is devastated, but Drosselmeyer mends the nutcracker. As the children grow weary the guests depart, and Drosselmeyer disappears as mysteriously as he had arrived. Clara carefully places her beloved nutcracker under the Christmas tree before the family retires to bed. That night, Clara tiptoes back to the Christmas tree and falls asleep next to the wooden Nutcrackerdoll. Once the clock strikes midnight, the magic begins!
