The Northern Arts and Cultural Centre has three accessible seats with adjustable arms (seats A1, B5, B6). Additionally, seats A1-A6, B1-4, and B6-8 can be accessed through our theatre’s side door upon request to avoid use of stairs. These seats can be booked online, over the phone, and in person.
In addition, there are four wheelchair-designated spaces available in our theatre for patrons who prefer to stay seated in their wheelchair during a performance. Should you wish to book a wheelchair-designated space, please contact our box office as they are placed on hold to ensure availability for patrons who need them.
Our theatre entrance has stairs, but for patrons who may have difficulty with this, there is an alternate entrance that can be made available upon request. Please contact our staff for assistance upon arrival to the venue.
NACC performances start at the time indicated on our performance calendar. We strongly encourage patrons to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time so you have ample time to park, grab a drink at the concession, check out the artwork in the lobby, and find your seat.
Any latecomers will be asked to wait for an appropriate break in the show to be seated.
The use of cell phones, cameras, or any other electronic devices is strictly prohibited for all performances. Please turn off your cell phone and other electronic devices prior to entering the theatre.
Please be considerate of those around you, and understand that they are also here to enjoy the show. NACC reserves the right to ask a patron to leave a performance if they are deemed a disruption. A ticket refund will not be issued for such circumstances.
As a courtesy to all our patrons, children under the age of 5 are not encouraged to attend most NACC performances. We are unable to admit babes-in-arms. Every patron, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket to enter a performance.
Some shows will make further age-appropriate recommendations, which will be listed on the NACC ticketing site. Parental discretion is always advised, and judgement of the content for each show should be made on an individual basis before purchase.
For questions regarding any show content, please contact our box office.
You’re welcome to consume beverages from the Candle Ice Café within the NACC theatre so long as it’s in a NACC cup. Food is not permitted in the NACC theatre. NACC’s Candle Ice Café sells white and red wine, beer, coolers, coffee, tea, pop, and water. The concession also sells assortment of snacks (chips & chocolate bars) that can be eaten in the lobby before the show or at intermission.
For NACC presentations, patrons 18 years of age and younger qualify for the Youth discount. Patrons 65 years of age and older qualify for the Senior discount.
The use of cell phones, cameras, or any other electronic devices is strictly prohibited for all performances. Please turn off your cell phone and other electronic devices prior to entering the theatre.
Latecomers will be seated according to usher’s discretion to minimize disruption to other patrons. Please arrive early to ensure you can enjoy the entirety of the performance. Should you decide to exit the theatre during the performance, re-admittance will be facilitated according to usher’s discretion to minimize disruption to other patrons. NACC strongly discourages patrons from exiting the theatre during a performance to ensure a pleasant experience for all patrons.
Behaviours that may cause disruption include, but are not limited to:
- Singing along to the music with the performers
- Having a conversation during the performance
- Wearing large amounts of cologne or perfume
- Bringing an infant or child who is too young to appreciate the production.
- Texting on your cell phone
Please be considerate of those around you, and understand that they are also here to enjoy the show. NACC reserves the right to ask a patron to leave a performance if they are deemed a disruption. A ticket refund will not be issued for such circumstances.
